This Georgian tea caddy is veneered with a geometric pattern done with rosewood and boxwood to create a very striking item. Internally the lids to the two compartments are also veneered with rosewood and boxwood and the compartments have retained a lot of the original zinc lining. This late nineteenth century glazed pottery wall plaque has been made in the style of Claude Michel (1738-1814), known as Clodion, a French sculptor in the Rococo style. These two pieces of Gorham sterling silver flatware are decorated with the Versailles pattern, which was introduced in 1888. The butter knife, or possibly a pickle knife, is 165 mm (6.5 inches) in length and weighs 34 gms. This very attractive hand painted wall plaque or charger is decorated with pattern A3830 from A.E. Gray's Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent. The flowers are done with a muted palette with jewelled highlights to their centres, whilst the leaves are painted in autumnal colours. The painting and the gilding are enhanced by the buff coloured ground. The condition is very good apart from some crazing. It is 340mm in diameter and dates from around 1937.

This Hadley Worcester onion shaped vase is decorated with subtle hand painted sprays of white and grey dog roses and green foliage. It also features a reticulated neck, coloured clay mounts and gilding. It stands 160mm high. The shape number is F127 which is not seen all that often. Its condition is very good, but it does suffer from some loss of the gilding to the rim and the foot which is just visible in the photo. It dates from 1897-1900.

This papier mache snuff box is decorated with a hand painted portrait of a well dressed lady of the early nineteenth century. Possibly by Stobwasser of Brunswick in Germany it measures 90 mm (3.5 inches) in diameter and stands 20 mm (.75 inch) high. The base has sustained a little bit of damage with a chip to the inner rim that runs for 25 mm ( 1 inch) and some minor chips to the bottom rim. C 1820.
