This bottle-shaped Doulton Lambeth vase is from the Carrara Ware range and was decorated by Mildred B Smallfield with a pattern of enamelled stylized flowers enhanced with gilding on an ivory ground. It dates from 1887-1890 and stands 195mm high. It has two very fine spiral firing cracks to the inside of the rim and the slight loss of gilding.

This hand painted porcelain coffee can is decorated onglaze with a rural scene of a figure walking past a ruined archway. It is unmarked and attributed to the Liverpool factory of Herculaneum. It stands 64mm high and has a diameter of 68mm. This corresponds with plate 283 of Michael Berthoud's "A compendium of British cups". It also matches examples in books on Herculaneum by Alan Smith and Peter Hyland...

This Wileman tazza is decorated with the hand coloured Delphic Sunset pattern (pattern 7332). The shape number is 388.It stands 177mm high and measures 208mm in diameter across the top. This pattern was introduced in 1905. It does have a couple of small scratches, a small area where the painter has smudged the paint and some crazing. However, overall it is in very good condition.

This hand painted Davenport porcelain dessert plate features a central display of fruit framed with gilding that includes gilt insects. The rim is a royal blue surround which features cream and gilt embellishments. The pattern number is 226. The diameter is 237mm. There are no cracks or chips, but there is some faint discolouration to the inside of the rim and two scratches to the orange. C1815.

This very unusual Crown Derby plate is decorated with a central spray of chrysanthemums done in raised gilt work on a very attractive pale cream ground. The sloping rim is decorated with a printed pattern of stylised flowers in the Japanese manner, and in the centre of each flower is an applied jewel-all done by hand. It measures 235mm square and stands 35mm high. There is some very minor loss of the printed pattern to the rim and a very fine crack to the footrim...

This hand painted and gilded vase by Coalport stands 187mm high and is decorated on both sides with posies of flowers. The moulding top and bottom suggest acanthus leaves, and sprouting from the twig handles are coloured and gilded leaves. These are complemented by the maroon ground and the gilding. This style of vase is sometimes known as "Brewer" vases, named after the potter who originally modelled them. It is unmarked but corresponds to plate 173 in Messenger's "Coalport 1795-1926"...

This Hadley Worcester onion shaped vase is decorated with subtle hand painted sprays of white and grey dog roses and green foliage. It also features a reticulated neck, coloured clay mounts and gilding. It stands 160mm high. The shape number is F127 which is not seen all that often. Its condition is very good, but it does suffer from some loss of the gilding to the rim and the foot which is just visible in the photo. It dates from 1897-1900.

This parian bust of Queen Victoria is by Turner & Wood (c1880-88). It carries the impressed mark "Turner and Wood" and the initials "RJM Sc". These are the initials of the sculptor R J Morris. The front of the base is impressed "Jubilee Bust". The bust stands 180mm in height and is in very good condition-its only blemish being some small chips to the base. The plinth stands 80mm high and is unmarked so I'm not sure that it is by Turner and Wood...

This Royal Worcester vase is a bit unusual in that it is in the shape of a drawstring purse. The body is embossed with Japanese motifs that are highlighted by gilding and set off by the pink drawstring. It features the Worcester mark incorporating the name of the retailer, Thomas Goode and Son. It stands 152mm high and is 127mm in diameter. It has a few tiny scratches to the green ground and there is some loss of the gilding to the rim-otherwise there are no other faults. C 1880.
