This Royal Worcester porcelain jug is decorated with a lively hand coloured spray of flowers, embellished with gilding, on a cream ground. There is a smaller spray on the reverse. The jug shape is listed as number 1094, which was introduced in 1885, and came in 6 sizes. The height of this one is 155 mm (6 inches). The reeded handle has suffered some rubbing of the gilding, otherwise it is in very good condition. It carries the date code for 1897.

This Spode lidded broth bowl on stand is decorated with the hand coloured chinoiserie pattern 2117. The bowl has a diameter of 106 mm (4.25 inches) and stands 100 mm (4 inches) high including the lid. The stand or saucer has a diameter of 158 mm (6.25 inches). Possibly by Coalport, this porcelain coffee can and saucer are decorated with a wide blue band to the rim which serves as a background to a gilt pattern of leaves and tendrils. Below this is a frieze of gilt tassels. There are sixteen flutes to the body of the cup, which stands 62 mm (2.5 inches) high and has a diameter of 70 mm (2.75 inches). There is some wear to the gilding, particularly in the centre of the saucer and to the rim of the cup. C1800.

This Spode blue and white comport, or footed bowl, would have originally been part of an extensive dessert set. The transfer printed pattern is entitled "Net" and the shape is the "Devonia" shape. It measures 310 mm (12.25 inches) in width, 230 mm (9 inches) in depth and stands 110 mm (4.25 inches) high. The colouring is still quite striking and it is in very good condition apart from a shallow flake taken from the rim and reglued. It measures 18 mm (.75 inch) in length. C 1820.

This wheel thrown mug with a lovely strap handle is decorated with a blue spongeware design of a rooster under a tree.
