The inside of this two handled Moorcroft comport is decorated with a single, large, velvety red and blue pansy, backed by some foliage, which is a rather unusual decoration. Around the rim of the bowl runs an undulating ring of flowerbuds and leaves, which separates the off white glaze at the top and the dark blue that continues down to the foot. It stands 135 mm (5.25 inches) high and the bowl has a diameter of 165 mm (6.5 inches)...

This Moorcroft bowl is decorated with the "Pomegranate" design. The bowl measures 225 mm (9 inches) in diameter, stands 35 mm (1 3/8 ths of and inch) high and is in very good condition apart from some light crazing. The base is impressed with a facsimile of William Moorcroft's signature, the stamp "Made in England", as well as "Potter to HM the Queen". C 1928.

This large Shelley Harmony Ware wall charger is decorated with a fabulous Art Deco sunburst design-the pattern being 8823A, the A standing for Amber colourway. The way it was decorated was that the powdered colours were mixed with turpentine and then applied. The piece was then spun on a wheel with the centripetal force spreading the glaze. This Minton Secessionist ware vase stands 176 mm (7 inches) and is illustrated in the Minton Seccessionist catalogue of 1902 as vase number 41. Designed by John Wadsworth and Leon Solon, Minton Secessionist ware was their tube lined Art Nouveau range of the period just preceding World War 1. It is in very good condition apart from from some very fine crazing, with the colours remaining vibrant. There is a date mark on the base, under the glaze, but it is illegible. C1902-10.

This Shelley cress dish and stand was decorated by hand with the blue tones of the Shelley Harmony range. The draining dish has a diameter of 196 mm (7.75 inches) and stands 60 mm (2.5 inches) high, whilst the stand has a diameter of 183 mm (7.25 inches). There are a few minor scratches, mainly to the stand and these are the only blemishes. This would date from the 1930's.
