This is a gorgeous American Belleek pitcher (perhaps a milk pitcher, as it is larger than a typical creamer and smaller than a water pitcher) by Willets Manufacturing Company, which was making Belleek wares circa 1884-1909.
The molded twist form to the body and the dolphin handle and hand-painted flowers, as well as the use of gilding, recall late 18th Century French porcelain wares, and this piece has excellent balance and painting. There is no damage aside from a small amount of gilding loss on the handle at a high point (please email me for more pictures); there are one or two small manufacturing flaws such as pin-holes or a burst glaze bubble (please email me for more pictures), but no issues overall. This piece measures about 5 1/2 inches tall and weighs 288 grams.
This piece is clearly marked with a Willets mark for its Belleek wares, which incorporates a serpent. A beautiful piece for display for use at the table! Shipping in the U.S. is $12 - thanks!
