Shamanic ritual dagger with three deity heads on top, geometric design in relief in the middle and on the lower side the usual three blade tip with intricate geometric decoration surrounding the "makara" head. Wood, fine dark brown semi glossy patina. Red wax seal form the Nepalese Antiquities Department at the back of the blade. Nepal, 19th century. Obvious signs of wear due to age, otherwise very good condition. Collected in the mid 70s.

Small figurine representing Kuan Yin, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, in formal attire and wearing elaborate diadem and necklaces, sitting cross-legged on an elevated throne around which reclining lions are showing. Bronze, with dark reddish-green patina. China, Northern Wei or Sui Dynasty. Height: 2 3/4" (7 cm). Strong erosion due to great age, right hand partly chipped (old accident) otherwise good condition. An extremely rare object.

Typical "zakpai" mask, with circular eyes, protruding mouth with animal teeth. Red cloth and metal circles around the eyes, and red cloth also on the upper lip. Beard made of rope affixed under the chin. The mask itself is made of wood with a nice partly encrusted patina. Africa, Ivory Coast, Dan Peoples, early 20th century. Height: 9 1/4" (23,7 cm). The mask is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Old accident on top (see photo), otherwise good condition.

Rare and unusual statue of Vairocana Buddha, wearing diadem and monk's robes, sitting on an elevated lotus throne, his right hand in "abhaya mudra", his left hand resting on his lap, in didactic gesture.
