Large bell used for Hindu religion rituals. Its handle is surmounted by two Hindu deities in relief,Hanuman and Garuda, which are backed by the Naga holy snake. The bell itself is decorated with stylized lotus design. Bronze, with fine reddish-green patina. India, 18th century. Height: 9" (23 cm). Handle slightly bent, otherwise very good condition.
