Statue of Buddha Ratnasambhava --- one of the five Transcendental Buddhas --- in monk's robes, sitting cross-legged on an elevated throne, holding the "Cintamani" in his left hand. His right hand is in "varada mudra". On either side of the Buddha's throne, at a lower level, his two disciples Ananda and Kasyapa are kneeling on a lotus attached to the throne by a small loop. This group is made of bronze, with a fine reddish-green patina. Burma, 19th century. Total height: 15 cm. Very good condition.
