Antique paper doll with three dresses and a blue jacket, a hat and purse. She is done in pencil the dresses are from scrap paper and tissue paper. Her hair is parted in the middle with long curls hanging straight down. She has a sweet face drawn by someone with a schooled hand. She has a cross necklance around her neck, a corset drawn around her middle and high button shoes and sock on her feet. The dresses have a nice sense of balance of color. The doll is 3 3/4" tall and the dresses are 2 1/4" top to bottom. Everything looks to be in good condition. The doll and clothes are sewn onto the paper back but when I don't know. The frame is old but not original to this doll. My guess is they were put together, doll with clothes, into the frame in the last 20 or so years. Circa Civil War era.
