This big cloth doll with a ink drawn/painted face has on a early brown calico dress with a complete set of antique underclothes. Her dress has lots of little holes and a few bigger holes all in the skirt not in the bodice of the dress. When she is sitting the folds hide the holes. Her body is completely hand sewn, is jointed at the hips and shoulders. She has a suggestion of hair painted on the back of her head and also has lots of pin holes that probably means at some point later in her life she has sewn on hair. She has mitten hands and feet that point out. She is big, impressive, 29" tall, cotton stuffed medium firm and is circa 1890. She has a pensive expression with a touch of worry.
