This is a most unusual topsy turvy. One side is a black doll with no features and a yellow calico dress. On the other side is a brown face girl with wonderful ink drawn features and hair. Her brown print dress compliments her face and arms. The dress is much longer and dramatic than the doll but it really works. She is rag stuffed with maybe some cotton also. There are a few holes on the back of her arm and the back of her head and some of the rags show through. The doll head to head is 10". From the top of her head to the top to the end of her skirt is 10". She is circa 1880 and really charming.
