This doll has a wonderful sepia ink drawn face that has so much character. Big round eyes with small dots for pupils round nose and a smile with defined teeth. A big circle frames her face with ears drawn just outside the circle. She has hair drawn just a the top of her face. She has jointed arms that end in a sharp points with thumbs on the sides. She is a stump doll, she never had legs, see picture. She has on a antique petticoat that has some staining, a very nice early black and red calico blouse and a lovely dark green skirt that is bound with black velvet. She is from the 1880's but I think she looks a lot older than that. She is firmly cotton stuffed and is 15" tall with the skirt another inch longer. She is very nice and most unusual.
