This dear little linen doll is all hand sewn. She had an embroidered face that is almost all gone, maybe the floss was wool? She has on a soft red cotton dress that is also all hand sewn. Her legs feel like they are rolled, her arms feel like they are stuffed with bran, and her body has a very old small corncob that is surrounded by stuffing up to her waist and then you just feel the corncob until it goes into her head. The corncob is broken into two pieces. Her dress is sewn shut but she looks and feels all original. She looks and feels like prairie doll, she makes my heart sing. C.1870 11" tall and found in Arizona.
