Late Autumn Rain at the Temple Nanzenji, Kyoto woodblock print by Kawase Hasui (Japan, 1883-1957) measures approximately 14 3/8" by 9 1/2" image and 17" by 23" as framed. The condition is good, bright colors and sharp image, I opened it, the print laid down on some kind of tiny tissue paper. Some pictures were taken outside in day light and some inside.

Ikeda Shuzo well known for his woodblock prints of children. This example of his work measures 11 3/4" x 19 3/4" image and 17 1/2" by 25" as framed. The artwork is in very good condition. C A posthumous printing of the Hiroshi Yoshida woodblock print "Yoshikawa", by the master shin hanga Japanese artist (1876-1950). The title at lower left margin and signature at lower right margin closely mimic pencil hand-signed signatures, but they are actually printed. This is how we know this is a posthumous restrike. These later printings are still very collectible in their own right. The measures 9 1/2" by 14 3/4" image. Unframed. Yoshida turned to woodblock printing in the late 1920's...
