Although Adderley is often credited by sellers as the maker of all Blue Chelsea series of table wares, the truth is that it was produced by many makers. This coffee pot is unmarked but clearly a fine Staffordshire example.

Our coffee pot sits on a hexagonal foot whose shaping continues in the body of the pot. It is sparsely decorated in the much beloved Blue Chelsea Sprig motif on a cream body...

A mulberry transfer English Staffordshire plate in the Athens pattern by William Adams & Sons made c. 1850. The inking is crisp and sharp, even on the backside as evidenced by the clear registry mark. The shape has 14 edges. Adams was one of the longest lived potters in England, operating as late as the 1990s.

This porcelain masterpiece was produced by the famous British firm commonly known as Royal Crown Derby a name owing to the trademark featuring the royal crown patented to the firm by George III. The designers spared no expense in the production of this lavish rarity which stands stout on 4 paw feet reminiscent of the Chippendale style. The bowl is carefully and brilliantly painted with roses, vines, and fern leaves in gold...

These exceptional vases decorated in the Chinese style were produced by the firm inherited by Charles Mason who secured rights to the famous Mason's Patented Ironstone in 1813. The pottery made porcelain as well, but I believe that these vases are of ironstone...

Please note that the right vase does NOT tilt. It is my old mahogany leaf table with gate legs which is the culprit.

An absolutely delightful pair of Old Paris neo-classical Campana vases hand painted in the round with an effusion of floral bouquets including tulips, pansies, peonies, poppies, and more, on an ebullient pink ground. The bowls are supported by a round foot standing atop a square plinth. The handles are embellished with finely detailed porcelain gargoyle/mythical faces...

When Dr Wall discovered a formula for porcelain which would withstand boiling water, he had a huge hit on his hand. This lovely blue and white porcelain mimics the ever popular Chinese wares using similar decorations such as this fine fenced garden. Trees, birds, lush flora surround the garden...

This Victorian copper luster pitcher practically dances with joy for the colorful flowers strung around the blue band of its bulbous form. Beading borders the blue and rim of the pitcher. Equally exciting is the mythical figure on the beaker spout. Condition is excellent and still retains luminous shine even after 170 years of life.

This fine Staffordshire copper luster pitcher is decorated with a blue band of enamel, creating a very clean, simple design, accented with beading around the border and rim of the pitcher. The fancy serpentine and strap handles give it grace. The warmth of the copper makes it an attractive accessory to a bookshelf or cabinet.

A beautiful ironstone coffee pot with rich green foliate garden theme transfer and hand painted floral decoration, back stamped with Brougham and Mayer Hybla Ironstone. Very good condition marred by shallow chip inside lip of lid. This gorgeous example dates from about 1850-60. Dimension: 9 1/4" h

Staffordshire Figure of Cobbler Woman, one of a pair. This one dates to mid 19th C. and is particularly desirable because it is painted in the round. Good condition with crazing, no discernible damage. Dimension: 6 1/2" h

A superior example of Staffordshire pottery owing to a couple of factors such as the gorgeous apple green enameling, the generous gilding, and the excellent condition of the creamer. This one is painted with apple green around the body with light yellow reserves of gold framed embellishments, the neck which is decorated with swagging leaves. The large helmet shaped mouth has gold leaf as does the attached two part handle. The creamer sits on four gold decorated feet. The underside is unmarked...

A fine Spode New Stone china small covered double handled tureen with under plate painted in the Imari palette featuring floral themes in the Chinese style. Spode introduced New Stone c. 1820, so we feel safe dating this item to c. 1825. It is in very good condition with the only flaw being minor to moderate gilding loss around the edge of the plate. An antique Spode stone china covered bowl with transfer and hand painted designs in the Imari palette featuring floral motifs in the Chinese style. These wonderful early ceramic pieces are a treat to find, and often bear evidence of their 200 years of life, and this one is no different. A hard to find purple transferware pitcher with central vignettes of farm life and genre scenes. The top and inside of pitcher have foliate decoration. The single piece handle is attached. Condition is very good with minor crazing and possible exterior crack for which we have shown 2 pictures. Very moderate age discoloration most noticeably on handle.

A very hard to find purple transferware jar with lid featuring a vignette of a child with mother among classical ruins. The attached handles are decorated and scroll outward; the rim is decorated with fancy borders as is the foot. Underside is impressed with P. An exceptionally attractive transferware bowl in the Milanese Pavilion pattern having fruit and floral images around the rim while two elegantly attired ladies converse on the pavilion. The back stamp bears the J H & Co mark of Joshua Heath & Co and dates to c. 1840 While the bowl is visually magnificent, it has a 2 3/4" hairline crack for which we have drastically reduced the price and for which we would consider reasonable offers.
