An exceptional gilt bronze candelabra in the rococo fashion, with 5 arms plus apex stem providing 6 lights. The detail is mesmerizing especially as one realizes that each candelabrum was cast in multiple parts and individually fastened to the main body. French Rococo and Louis XV features inform the design of these candelabra which sit on a a footed sinuous base with ornate embellishments from which rise intertwining stems whose sinusoidal arms support separately 4 sockets and bobeches. The finish is gold patination of which there is modest loss. The base is constructed of 3 pieces. Other than the previously noted finish losses, the candelabra are in very good condition. Some of the bobeches rotate freely. Dimension: 15" h
