Chinese Lacquer Covered Urn
A very fine Chinese lacquer urn covered with lid with finial. The body of the urn features 2 reserves of birds perched on flowering branches. Traditional Chinese motifs decorate bib and diaper. While we might term the color as black lacquer, it is actually rich brown. The detailed carvings are in excellent condition.
We believe this handsome urn to be late 19th C.
