Early 20th Century Antique Limoges Fish Plates, Hand Painted Signed -
A fantastic set of hand painted fish plates, each plate having its own distinctive scene, made in Limoges, France. The plates date circa 1900. Each plate is gold enameled at the rim. Diameter is 9 1/4". Condition is superb (see report below). Backstamp is L. R. I - a manufacturer whose identity I have not solved.
With 12 plates, you could create a visually arresting focal point in your living room, dining, or hallway.

Eleven plates are in superb antique condition. One has a chip in the gilding of about 1/2 inch or so, but the image is without defect.
