This black and white photograph superbly captures a stone smiling Buddha in an Asian ruin or courtyard. While I cannot positively identify the location, it strikes me as Thailand. The remarkable fact of the photograph is that it is a silver gelatin development, a fading art for as one expert stated, "It requires a highly skilled and experienced darkroom technician." The digital age has no need of such skills.
While the work is unsigned, it is clearly that of an accomplished photographer and dark room technician. It was created in 2005. Based upon information I gathered from its agent, I believe that this photograph is one of a kind.
Matted in white with black frame.

I only marked this item as having imperfections because it is vintage, not sold as new. It is very clean and in superb condition.
