A Sevres porcelain cup and saucer from the Second Empire (1852-1870) painted with flower garlands with a gilt scallop border and monogrammed with what appear to be the initials A.D. Diameter of saucer is approximately 4 ½ inches (10.2cm) and height of cup approximately 2 ½ inches (5.1cm).

Condition: Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Delicately painted rose garlands and the high quality porcelain create a pleasingly pretty set.

A Doccia master salt circa 1770; the molded form is a copy of a silver form. The piece is decorated with red enamel flowers with gilt highlights. Doccia was founded circa 1735 near Florence and continues to produce porcelain. Height is approximately 1 ½ inches (3.8 cm). Length is 3 ¼ inches (7.6cm) and width is 2 5/8 inches (5.1 cm).

Condition: Chipped foot with slight discoloration on foot, otherwise nice.

The master salt is made in an unusual form with bright decoration. Sold

A pair of Mason's Patent Ironstone China plates circa 1820 in the "Chinese Wall" pattern with Under glaze blue and over glaze enamels with gilt highlights on the green border and the dots on the wall which is painted with different color blocks. The mark, “Mason’s Patent Ironstone China" is impressed in a single line on the back of the plates. Diameter is approx. 9 inches (22.9 cm).

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. There are some knife scratches and gilding wear...

A hexagonal Worcester teapot stand circa 1760 with molded chrysanthemums overlaid by blue painted blossoms which are repeated in a garland formation on the interior rim. Diameter is approximately 5 inches (12.7 cm), and height is approximately 5/8 of an inch (1.6 cm).

Condition: Slight discoloration on bottom. No chips, cracks, or repairs.

The teapot stand is an attractive shape with a nice contrast between the painting and molding.

A pair of porcelain plates with a maroon and gilt border and complex bouquet of flowers in the center. Hand painted. On the back in a printed scroll, "ED. HONORE" and address, Boulevard Poissoniere Number 6. The mark is the same as the mark on the china that the company provided for the White House in 1846/47 to President Polk. 8 and 3/4 inches (22 cm) diameter.

Back marked with an elaborate blue printed mark of a crown over what looks like a log with a garland of flowers and a ribbon with the words, "TONQUIN CHINA." A hard paste porcelain shallow bowl commonly used for salad with a dentil gilt rim and hand painted with bouquets and sprays of flowers. The simplicity of the painting is not an indication of poor work, there was at times a fashion for simple looking things; think of Marie Antoinette at her dairy at Versailles. This bowl is from the same period. 8 1/4 inch (21 cm) diameter.

Late 18th or early 19th century tall porcelain pear shaped coffee pot with a flat lid topped with a pointed knop. The form is typical of Doccia of this period though the hexagonal spout is unusual. Pair of plates with a slightly scalloped body decorated with blue transfer printed outer border of small four petal flowers enclosing a wide border of scrolling flowers and in the center of the plate the outer border repeated around a sprig of similar flowers. Heavy pottery with printed mongram, impressed triangle and date letters J and K for 1888 and 1889. 10 ¼ inch (26 cm.) diameter.

Dinner plate in Sevres pattern but probably Minton c. 1850

A soft paste porcelain dinner plate unmarked, but probably Minton. In the “feuille de choux” pattern with hand painted flowers, blue accents and heavy gilding. These knock offs of 18th century Sevres were popular from the mid 19th century (c.1850) onwards and Minton made many of the very good ones. 9 ½ inches (24 cm) diameter.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. This plate looks as if it was never used.
