Imperial folio lithograph with hand coloring after John W. Audubon of a pair of Little Nimble Weasels in winter coats printed by J.T. Bowen 1848. This print was part of the three volume folio printed between 1845 and 1848 of the Viviparous Quadruped of North America. The sheet is approximately 22 x 28 inches (56 x 71 cm), the mat opening 18 ½ x 24 ½ inches (47 x 62 cm) and the oak frame 24 ¾ x 31 ½ inches (61 x 80 cm)...

Hand colored lithograph titled, “THE BATTERY, NEW YORK/BY MOONLIGHT.” N. Currier lower left, address lower right. Promenade under the leafy trees with the full moon lighting the harbor with sailing vessels. Kennedy Galleries label taken from the earlier back board, now on the new backing. Sight size 9 x 12 ½ inches, over all with frame, 16 1/8 x 19 1/8 inches.

Condition: Minor tears in the margins and some slight discoloration, but otherwise good condition.
