Imperial folio lithograph with hand coloring after John W. Audubon of a pair of Little Nimble Weasels in winter coats printed by J.T. Bowen 1848. This print was part of the three volume folio printed between 1845 and 1848 of the Viviparous Quadruped of North America. The sheet is approximately 22 x 28 inches (56 x 71 cm), the mat opening 18 ½ x 24 ½ inches (47 x 62 cm) and the oak frame 24 ¾ x 31 ½ inches (61 x 80 cm)...

Hand colored lithograph titled, “THE BATTERY, NEW YORK/BY MOONLIGHT.” N. Currier lower left, address lower right. Promenade under the leafy trees with the full moon lighting the harbor with sailing vessels. Kennedy Galleries label taken from the earlier back board, now on the new backing. Sight size 9 x 12 ½ inches, over all with frame, 16 1/8 x 19 1/8 inches.

Condition: Minor tears in the margins and some slight discoloration, but otherwise good condition.

A hand colored lithograph by Currier and Ives titled, “The Narrows, New York Bay/ from Staten Island.” The scene depicts a nearly rural Staten Island in the foreground with part of the harbor in the middle and the narrows, now home to the Verrazano Bridge in the distance. Currier and Ives in the lower left below the image and their Nassau Street address in the lower right. Kennedy Galleries label taken from the earlier back board, now on the new backing...

A hand colored lithograph showing in the distance the fortress of Kalat-i-Ghilzaiin Afghanistan. In the foreground to the left are a group of women seated on the ground and to the right a group with two camels, one with a rider, a goat and a man with a rifle. The lithograph is after a drawing by Lt. James Rattray who helped relieve the besieged garrison of Kalat-i-Ghilzaiin in 1842...

A hand colored lithograph of the interior of a Damascus house showing a cistern below a very high ceiled room surrounded by arches and a relatively small doorway to the outside on the opposite side of the point of view. Men in both robes and trousers fez and keffiyeh in various attitudes occupy the foreground and a servant (?) enters near the outside door.

The lithograph surrounded by a thin line with the printed information: “R CLIVE DELT.” (lower left)...

From a set of lithographs, Paris Dans sa Splenour, published in 1861, titled, “LE NOUVEAU LOUVRE/Vue prise du Palais Tuileries.” The printer and lithographer are shown in details of the lower left and right corners. The image without printing is 9 7/8 by 14 ½ inches (25 x 27 cm), the page 13 ¼ by 19 ¼ inches (34 x 49 cm).

Condition; some rubbing to the surface and some of what look to be ink spots...
