The cufflinks offered here would have to be ranked among the very rare of Harmon's designs. Any of this American designer's work is scarce and desirable to collectors of the Mexican school of silversmithing, which enjoyed a renaissance from the early thirties to the present. Harmon came to Mexico in 1940 where he opened a small shop.
He his known for his clever, whmisical, totally original designs. These cufflinks are 1 3/4"L x 1/2"W. The head is a cabochon
amethyst. Excellent condition. Hallmarked with Harmon's winged feet and stamp.
