Circa 1880, this locket exemplifies a popular motif of the time: the buckle. It was widely used in Victorian jewelry as a symbol of fidelity. Beautiful rose cut diamonds set in this Georgian brooch. They are set in silver and gold. The largest diamond weighs approximately .40 cts. The entire piece has over two carats total weight. Each diamond is beautifully cut and there are some that are fancy peach and champagne colored. The brooch measures approximately 3" long and 2" wide. The catch is a 1920s replacement but is very secure and in working condition. The piece is unmarked but has been fully tested. The overall weight is 21 gram...

Circa 1820, this magnificent 15k rose gold fob has an intricately carved dragon motif seal in banded agate. It has alternating beaded and fluted supports to its setting and a lovely rope-like engraving around the face of the seal. The seal measures approximately 1 1/8" long and 7/8" wide. The setting of the seal is just over 1 1/4" tall. It is the perfect companion to J1849, our 19" long 9k rose gold chain ($695). The seal and fob are in excellent condition and the overall weight is 10 grams.
