A etremely rare Kanton enamelled gilt-copper European-subject snuff bottle. Qianlong mark and period ( 1736 - 1795 ). Provenance : From an old Austian Family collection, in the past sold at the famous Austrian Auction house Dorotheum and according to Dorotheum`s expert Mrs. Dr. Jorinde Ebert this rare piece at least was for the past 150 years in this family collection. The spoon is lost. H : 2,6 inc ( 6,8 cm )

Rare Ming Dynasty ewer resp. pouring vessel in the shape of a duck. The piece is not really a Sancai, because Sancai means 3 colours, and this duck is just in a very nice green. Erthenware with lead glaze. There is a - not simmilair, but compareable piece in the book : Oriental Trade Ceramics in South - East Asia ( John S. Guy ) page 103, Nr.91. This piece is described as : South China, possibly Fujian, Ming Dynasty, fifteenth to early sixteenth centuries...

Very rare, broken Ming Dynasty Chenghua period ( 1465 - 87 ) Minyao ( peoplesware ) blue and white bowl. This bowl is so interesting, because its shape and design is directely compareable with the imperial, so called Palacebowls, which are worth hundredthousands of dollars. Very nice Ming Dynasty Chenghua period ( 1465 - 87 ) blue and white small cup with a for Chenghua typical waterplant design. H : 4,8 cm. There is a big chip ( please look enlargements )but further in a very good condition - another challenge for the restorers among my clients.

A nice challenge for each restorer. Early Ming Dynasty Zhengtong period ( 1436 - 49 ) blue and white dish with a extraordinary nice and rich decoration. The old unprofessional gluings can be open again trough to cook in water. D : 20 cm.

Seventeenth century Dehua ware ( Fujian ) dish. White milky glaze over a white porcelain body. D : 9,3 cm. Perfect condition !

Very interesting,bowl. Porcelaneous grey stoneware with a underglaze red decoration under a greenish colour fine crackled glaze. I am not very familiar with korean resp. japanese ceramics - I never before have seen a piece like this, but I know, how to look at a piece of porcelain resp. stoneware - this piece is genuine. It also has a " provinience " - it comes from a native Dayak family - very far from the interior of Kalimantan, Borneo. Diameter : 16,3 cm...

Excavated in Kalimantan, Borneo. The piece is small, like most of the Song Geyao items, the shape is like Song, the glaze is like Song, but the clay ( porcelaneous ) looks different, and so unfortunately I have to be confident, that it must be a 18th century piece. What is confusing, is, that the piece was excavated together with some broken, ordinary Song pieces, and that there have not been found any other Qing material at this lokation. The piece is very nice, and in a perfect condition...

Rare korean Choson period blue and white dish. ( 18th - 19th cetury ) Very nice condition - if you look very close, you see 1 very short fiering crack and 1 very small chip, which also seems to date to the time of production. Diameter : 20,2 cm.

This piece shows a well known motiv of a Han dynasty story-teller with a drum...

Ming Dynasty Hongzhi period ( 1488 - 1505 ) blue and white bowl. Very nice glaze and kobalt blue. The waterplant design on the inside of the bowl reminds on the typical waterplant desing of the earlier Chenghua pieces. Nice condition - no cracks, repaired rim fritting at one part of the rim which is viseable at enlargement 6. Diameter : 15 cm.
