A pair of extremely rare stoneware jarlets. The glaze with a dark olive - brown color with splashes of milky, pale blue tone. Tang Dynasty ( 618 - 907 ). Probably Dundian kiln, Lushan country ( Lushan ware ). Diameter : 4,7 cm. H : 4 cm. Condition : One jarlet in perfect condition, the other jarlet chipped to the unglazed base ( which is to see on the last enlargement ) Provenance : Excavated in Sulawesi, Indonesia. Extremely rare, during the past 20 years I never have seen a jarlet of this type in Indonesia. A " must have " for any collector of small excavated jarlets.
