SOLD ! Thanks to U.K.!
The mayority of Longquan Guan type dishes do have the common Longquan paste, which we do know from the ordinary Longquan Celadon pieces.
This Guan type dish is so rare, because it has an dark grey body which has turned reddish-brown where exposed in the firing. The shape of body of the dish is perfectly potted, and covered with a greenish grey glaze. Guan type Longquan ware, Song Dynasty.
Diameter : 12,6 cm. Condition : The glaze slightly degraded, and to the inside of the dish there is a circular form firing crack around the bottom of the dish, which partially is open and partially is covered by the original glaze.
