Six original etchings from LES MYSTERES DE LA PASSION by Jacques Callot printed in 1631. Scenes represented are (upper row left to right, lower row right to left): Adoration of the Sheperds, Visitation, Adoration of the Kings, Entombment, Descent of the Holy Spirit and Descent to the Limbo. Lieure catalog numbers 685-690 (images and descriptions in Lieure catalog are mismatched, I used numbers from descriptions), second state of two. Excellent design, 6 scenes printed on the same sheet, beautiful clean image. Framed and glazed, not examined outside of frame. Print size in view 92 x 122 mm (3 5/8 x 4 3/4inches), frame size 8 5/8 x 10 5/8 inches.
