The painting is depicted of two beauties in between plum blossom trees and is dated 庚辰年夏 1940 summer (民國29年). Ye Darong, courtesy name as Xiangfu, son of Ye Manshu who was also a famous painter from Shanghai. Size: 20.5 (52cm) inches long.

Chinese scroll calligraphy by the poet and calligrapher, Shen Yin-mo (1883-1971). Ink on paper. Hanging scroll. Signed “Yin-mo”, with one seal of the artist. Contemporary mounting by the previous owner. Excellent condition.

The 20th century Japanese scroll painting by the artist, Miyadai Tamae (1945-?). Miyadai Tamae is a Japanese painter who specializes in flower-and-bird paintings characterized by his effective use of ink. His paintings are popular for their subdued and tasteful colors. Ink and color on Silk, hanging scroll. This painting represents a cricket happily living in the nature. Signed “Tamae”, with one signature seal of the artist. Only one scroll head survived, otherwise excellent condition.

Japanese Meiji period scroll painting by the artist, Katsuyo. Ink and color on paper, hanging scroll. The painting depicts a beauty in the rain, holding her umbrella. Signed “Katsuyo”, with one signature seal of the artist. The painting is in very good condition, however, the mounting is broken.

The painting was attributed to Momokawa Meiho. Ink on paper. No framing. The painting depicts a peaceful scenery of a valley and mountains.. No signature. Good condition, except for some small cracks of the crisp paper.

This lovely album was attributed to Ishihara Matsuyoshi 石原松芳, signed in 昭和庚辰年 (1940). 28 spreads (56 pages) in total, and 27 paintings in one album. Subjects from birds, flowers, mythologies, still life, figures to landscapes, a glimpse of the artist's rich spiritual world. Signed with two seals on each painting. Very good condition, no big damage except for the aging paper.

Upper: Ink on gold leaf paper. The calligraphy writing by Jiang Zuo-bin (1884-1942), a political and military figure, and a diplomat during the Republic Period. Lower: Ink and color on gilded paper. The painting was attributed to Tang Xue-shi, signed in 庚午年 (1930). Excellent condition. Re-mounted by the previous owner.

The painting is about Buddha’s story of Zen meditation. Re-mounted by the previous owner.

The print is about a Japanese mythology. Original mounting. AS IS condition.

The solid 14K yellow gold is finely crafted in three bats and three prunus flowers on each sides in the 20th Century, marked “14K.” The old Qing Dynasty jadeite is from the 19th Century, hand-crafted in the Ruyi shape, the front crafted with four traditional Chinese character meaning “longevity with wealth and honor”, the reverse crafted with a deer or a dragon-like mythical beast.
