This lovely vase was made by studio glass artist Don Gonzalez of Stockton, NJ; it exemplifies his masterful expertise in form and coloring. It is signed "Gonzalez" and has a polished bottom. It stands 5 1/2" x 4" x 3 1/2". Perfect condition. Don Gonzalez has been blowing glass since the early 1970s, starting at Carnegie Mellon, continuing at Sausalito Art Center, then maintaining his own studio for more than 40 years. His work is carried in numerous museums across the country as well as many private collections. He has been awarded four Fellowship Awards by the NJ State Council on the Arts and one Fellowship from the Creative Glass Center of America.
