Large Chinese pottery money toad of Liu Hai’s three legged toad with large bulging eyes and scrolling designs on his back, a loose coin in his mouth and with three extra coins, each coin has characters. According to one legend, the Jin Chan was the greedy wife of one of the Eight Immortals, who was transformed into a toad as punishment for stealing Peaches of Immortality. It attracts and protects wealth, and to guard against bad luck. Age: 20th century - Size: 18" long (45.7 cm)
