Featuring an early, rare and wonderful Japanese studio porcelain vase with a crane standing amongst grasses on a brown pottery like glaze background. Signed in blue, Makuzu Kozan, on porcelain plaque. Excellent condition, but with a tight age hairline in glaze on side/top edge which carries into the interior. Very hard to see and would not know it is there unless told and looking with magnification under strong light.More photos available if requested. Measures about 5 3/4" tall x 4.5" in diameter in widest spot. Top opening measures 2.5" and base measures 2.5".
