 Sold, thank you!
Featuring a wonderful quality, large, rare and very beautiful solid coin sterling silver napkin ring with 8 rows of 4 different, interesting engine turned designs. Elaborate engraved area with flowers and scrolls for monogram with flowers. Shape is an unusual barrel shape which flares out in the middle and in towards the top with a braided like border on both ends. Monogram appears to be "LFG" but could be interpreted differently. Guaranteed made in America in the mid 1800's. Measurements" 2 1/16" high x 1 5/8" diameter. Coin silver is at least 900 parts sterling. Sterling is 925/1000 parts sterling. It was typical in the mid 1800's to not mark a coin sterling napkin ring at all or just to mark it with and S and a number or just a number. Excellent condition, with just two, very tiny dimples that appear to be a bit darker in photos. Neither spots are noticeable or objectionable nor do they detract in any way from this beautiful napkin ring. Return privilege providing item returned in sent condition, within 3 days of receipt and the way it was packaged/sent. Sales tax charged if sold in New York state unless valid NY sales tax number and resale form provided.
