Featuring a very pretty antique American sterling silver and guilloche enamel trinket box or compact with mirror with chatelaine chain and ring. Pretty pink and green transparent enamel flowers and leaves over beautiful guilloche design. Clear enamel over interesting guilloche background design. Mirror on interior of hinged cover. Dates to the turn of the 20th century. Weight: 28.3 grams. Dimensions: 1.5" diameter x 3/4" high. Stamped sterling, number 222 and hallmark W in crescent moon(Watrous Mfg. Co of Connecticut, 1896-1898 which became the International Silver Co. in 1898). Condition: slight scratch/wear to enamel. 2 minor indents in sterling on underside. No chips, damages, restorations. Very good to excellent antique condition. These minor imperfections do not affect the beauty of this piece and it displays very well. Cover closes tightly. A nice addition to a trinket display box, compact, enamel, pill box or chatelaine collection! Sales tax charged if sold in NY state unless valid resale number and form provided.
