Featuring a lovely Japanese cloisonne ginbari cloisonne enamel silver wire vase with subtle iris motif in soft shades of lavender, blue, pink and green leaves. The iris design encircles the entire vase, a rare motif in ginbari. The background shades from silvery blue at the neck to silver at the base. Also rare, is that some of the irises are partially wireless as they fade into the silver half. Dimensions: just under 6" tall x 2 3/4" wide. Excellent condition with no breaks, damages or restorations. Two small firing lines under enamel near base on the rear under the small lavender iris(photo 3, very hard to see unless held in certain light). Also, 3 or 4 minor pits from firing in kiln, see photo4/5. Signed which may be a variation of Kumeno Teitaro's signature.
