Finest detail Japanese Satsuma cabinet vase dating to the Meiji era, circa 1890. The 3.5" vase depicts a gathering of 45 people, some pulling a cart with musician and a lord, others marching along side of the cart, some holding fans, swords, and others under or by a tree, observing the procession. Much raised enamel. Greek key and intricate brocade borders. Signed Meizan. Amazing condition. No repairs, chips, cracks, missing enamel or gold. More photos available if interested.
