 Sold thank you.
Featuring a fine quality Japanese antique silver wire cloisonne enamel cabinet vase from the Golden Age period with 3 manchurian cranes in various poses. Excellent workmanship in the birds feathers, feet scales and nails. The Manchurian cranes, with their red crowns are on a rich cobalt blue background. Graceful shape with narrow neck and slim body. Signed Yama Tada. Very similar work to Hayashi Kodenji. Most great collections have a similar example to this vase in their collection. Date: circa 1890. Dimensions: just under 6" tall x 2" wide at shoulder. Condition: very good to excellent with one obscure, minor 8mm. long x 1mm line on right side, in the cobalt blue background, under right wing of right bird facing with a small 5x1 mm shallow flake in the enamel. Very hard to see unless looking closely under magnification and a strong light. Displays beautifully and does not detract from the overall beauty of this piece. No other cracks, damages or repairs. Satisfaction guaranteed. Return privilege providing item returned in sent condition within 3 days of having been received and the way it was packed if possible. Please feel free to ask for more photos if desired. Postage/insurance extra. Sales tax charged if sold in NY state unless signed NY sales tax form and number provided.
