Gorgeous Japanese porcelain tea cup/saucer with fine decoration painted by hand in the late 19th century in the Arita/Imari area of Japan. This is the finest quality of this type of work and is very collectible and rare. The cup opening measures 3 1/2" and is 2" high. The saucer measures 5" in diameter. Both pieces are in excellent condition with hundreds of tiny flowers with touches of raised enamel, rich brocade designs, and boarders, all in shades of blue, green, orange,and gold.
