Featuring a wonderful Japanese porcelain plate made by Fukagawa in the late 19th century. The scalloped 6 1/4" plate with the 24 petaled kikumon design is fairly rare. At least six different patterns alternate in blue, orange, white and much gold. 2 blue rims surround the foot rim on the underside and the Fukagawa signature mark, a blue under glaze Mt. Fuji mark, is in the center. The plate is in remarkably excellent condition considering its age with no damage, chips, cracks, or restorations. 3 matching plates available if interested. Return privilege providing item returned in sent condition within 3 days of having been receive and in original packaging if possible. Postage/insurance extra. Sales tax charged if sold in New York state.
