This is a charming pair of rustic candle stand. Of a simplistic geometric design, this is an alter piece with some remain of the wax still sticking to some parts of both the candle stand. The pair is unusual in that it is made of copper rather than bronze or brass. So this could be a pair provincial candle stand. This is a beautiful moulded polychrome porcelain bat or wufu and peach brush washer. The bat or wufu is glazed in a iron brown colour with gold dotting and lining. The pair of wings is shown clinching onto the peach and presumably, the bat eating is eating the peach. The peach colour is in the shed from green to dark pink at the tip, with dark green leave and brownish tree trunk. The inside of the brush washer is glazed in turquoise colour. This is a Qing dynasty porcelain bee hive shaped water pot. It is sometimes referred to taibo zun or qizhao (chicken coop) in Chinese. The only difference for this piece is that this bee hive water pot does not have a neck with a small mouth. The domed shaped body has a countersunk base which is unglazed exposing the fine white colour porcelain. The pokka dot glazing makes the water pot glazing quite unusual and possibly a scarce item.

This is a beautiful pair of small saucer in the motif of a lotus flowers in a pond. On the saucer, it has a outstanding stalk of lotus flower standing upright in full bloom. Below it, there are also two smaller flowers in full bloom. One of the flowers to the left has the petals dropping off showing the green pod, suggesting that the season is probably near mid summer. This is a beautiful blue and white medium size brush or joss stick stand. This is a late Qing dynasty pufu or surcoat with a rank badge. The pufu is make of silk gauze or kesi for the summer and a heavier satin-silk, sometimes lined with fur, for the winter. The rank badge with the embroidered silvery pheasant is that of a fifth grade or rank of the civil official. This is a yellow mat glazed brush pot from the renown Chinese potter Wang Bingrong. The brush pot is potted in high relief depicting a scene of a pair of birds perching on the willow tree on a breezy day and with another bird flying towards it. This is a small porcelain brush washer in the shape of a half persimmon with large scallop rim in mat gold colour. The interior is glazed in uneven turquoise colour. This is a late Qing dynasty piece probably of the early 20th century.

There is no crack, chip, glaze fritting, repair or restoration. There is only a minor firing fault as shown in picture no. 6 and minor bubble burst on one of the bud. Overall, it is in good condition.

This is a classical form Song dynasty small longquan or celadon dish with moulded appliqué twin fish in the centre and an everted flatten rim. The dish is glazed with an uneven sea green or aquamarine glaze with crazing instead of the standard green colour.

A rare persimmon glazed Dingyao type covered bowl. It stands on a short unglazed footring, showing the white fine-grained body and everted to a straight persimmon glazed body. The inside of the bowl is glazed white with a burnt black spot in it. The inner mouth rim is unglazed. The cover of the bowl is of mild dome shaped with a small finial, which is likely to be of lotus bud. Pieces in such good condition are hard to come by.

This is a large bowl with deep sides rising from a short flared foot gradually for the first two-thirds, then steeply to a lightly indented vertical lip. The interior of the bowl is covered with glossy iron-rich black glaze with five lustrous russet-silvery glaze streaks, like a star, radiating from the base with the black glazed background. The exterior mostly black glaze underneath, the unglazed foot showing the buff body with the foot rim burnt to a very light mushroom colour.
