This is a very fine and beautiful small famille rose tea pot. It depicts a beautiful summer scence with a pair of pairs, one perching on a tree and the other flying towards it. There is also some bamboo trees, gourd plants and lindzhi to the right of the taihu rock. The scence also depicts a beautiful red poeny flower to the right. To the left and right it depicts a red and yellow crab apple trees in full bloom. Overall it depicts a very bright and cheerful summer scene with the flowers and plants in full bloom. The small size and finess of the tea pot suggests that it is being used by the wealthy class and for the lady's room. This is a Guangxu (1875-1908) mark and period tea pot. Cir. late 19th century.

Minor pin holes all over. No repair, restoration, chip or glaze fritting. Overall it is in good condition but the handle is missing. However, it does not affect the aesthetic and the beauty of the tea pot.

The dimension of the famille rose tea pot: the height is 12.8cm and the widt is 13.8cm. The diameter of the base is 10.4cm.
