This is a late Ming dynasty (16th / 17th Century) blue and white bowl. On the outside of the bowl it is painted, all around the bowl, with blue background with three sets of lotus flower and foliage and three white cranes or herons in white colour. On the inside of the bowl, a small lotus flower is shown blooming from the top view.
There is some abrasion, sand grits on the base and inside of the bowl as shown in the pictures and minute unglazed spots (pic 2). There is also one chip and a hairline crack as shown in picture 3 and 4. The crack can be easily restored as it does not affect the aesthetic of the bowl. Other than that, overall in good condition.
The measurement of the bowl: Diameter 14.7cm and the Height is 7.5cm.
