This painting is titled “Path To Little Marlow” a realistically painted landscape of a meadow with a male figure standing on a bridge, with a subtle mountainous range in the background and wind-swept trees as the focal point with wild flowers in the foreground. It is signed on the lower left-side Alfred de Breanski. In the back of the stretches are the artist signature Alfred de Breanski Snr. and the title of the painting. Size: 14” x 18” (35.56 x 45.72 cm) He is famous for his superb oil paintings of British landscapes, including the Scottish Highlands and Welsh mountain scenes. Often bathed in golden light, these landscapes often feature water and cattle, or sheep on grassy banks. He exhibited at the Royal Academy until 1918.
