Nubian painted terracotta sarcophagus mask. With prominent facial details. Circa @ 300 B.C. Mounted. 16 X 13 inches. with frame, 26 inches X 21 inches. Ex. Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, South Orange, New Jersey. Said to have been purchased from an old New Jersey estate.

Solid cast, the bronze cobra with flaring hood and bulging eyes, curved along the back of the hood, its head crowned by a solar disk, the body once inlaid, with a tenon at the base. 5 1/4 inches high including the tenon. Suspension loop on back of head. V.G. Collection Brussels, 1975.

A large ancient Greek pair statue. Appears to represent the nude Adonis, his right leg slightly bent on the knee, standing on a raised pedestal, gazing down on an enamoring Aphrodite, with hair pulled back into a bun, her right arm bent at the elbow, and her left hand, grasping her long, flowing drapery. Ancient Egyptian bronze figure of a seated deity. Possibly a provincial depiction of Harpocrates, depicted nude, wearing the Nemes headdress, fronted ureas, wearing the sidelock, seated, with arms stretched along each side and wearing a highly unusual crown. 4 3/8 inches high. Of slender form, depicted mummiform, he is wearing the atef crown, fronted with an ureas, with prominent facial details, wearing the false beard and with hands emerging from tightly fitting garment, grasping the crook and flail. 5 7/8 inches high. Probably a handle for a chest or a door. In the form of the face of a lion depicted in high relief, holding a ring in the gaping jaws, with protruding tongue, incised whiskers and fur, and radiating mane. Mounted.
