A pair of ancient Egyptian bronze and inlaid stone eyes. Late Period, 600-300 B.C. Right eye measures 2 inches wide. Left eye measures 1 3/4 inches wide. Originally, from a NYC private collection.

Solid cast, the bronze cobra with flaring hood and bulging eyes, curved along the back of the hood, its head crowned by a solar disk, the body once inlaid, with a tenon at the base. 5 1/4 inches high including the tenon. Suspension loop on back of head. V.G. Collection Brussels, 1975.

An ancient Egyptian faience shabti for Psamtik. Standing on an integral plinth against an inscribed back pillar, with prominent facial details, depicted mummiform with the arms crossing his chest, his hands emerging from his tightly fitting garment, holding hoes, a seed sack over his left shoulder, wearing a tripartite headcloth and a braided beard. 4 inches high. Repaired. Purchased on the Belgian art market. Said to be from an old German collection.

Standing on a rectangular base and wearing a broad beaded collar, beard, and tripartite wig surmounted by a crown of horns with plumes and sun-disk, the blank column in front surmounted by recumbent Anubis, the base inscribed with a hieroglyph inscription and containing fragments of ancient linen. Colorful fragment from a sarcophagus. Depicting and facing left, Osiris and two of the four sons of Horus - the falcon headed god - Qebehsenuef and the jackal headed god, Duamutef. All wearing elaborate, cross-hatched, net-design garments. Hieroglyphic inscription and remains of feather design underneath. A very close parallel at the Brooklyn Museum, appears to date this cartonnage to probably the end of the 25th Dynasty, 712-664 B.C. 10 3/4 inches high X 6 1/4 inches wide. All original pigment....
