Drinking cup, finely decorated and of elegant form, with high arching handles, with support struts and thumb spurs, the cylindrical body flaring to the rim with a short lip around the base, set on a slender stem with medial ridge and steeped foot. Side "A" depicts a winged Eros, sitting on a pedestal base, legs crossed, wearing beads on his neck and right leg, his right hand holding a purse, his left hand holding a goose. Side "B" depicts an Eros, holding a phiale and a situla. Tongue design around perimeter of rim. 11 inches high. 4th Century B.C. Repaired. From a New Jersey collection.
