Tall sarcophagus panel with two lines of vertical hieroglyphic inscription. Right hand column reads "Words to be recited by Imseti, that he may give a good burial ..." Left column reads the same but references Duamutef instead of Imseti. It also appears to make reference to the god Herishef - a creator and fertility god in the shape of a ram. Late Period, 600-300 B.C. 30 inches long X 6 1/2 inches wide. All original pigment. From an old New Jersey collection.
