Here is the elusive SH 1339 fabulously costumed as a man in a tuxedo with top hat. He has a perfect bisque head. The original and very unusual crier body is unique to this doll and carries a patent number. Layaway is always an option. Please contact me to discuss terms. Here are the details:

Head: His bisque head is perfect with no cracks, chips, or hairlines. He has brown sleep eyes with real lashes and an open mouth with teeth. He wears an antique brown human hair wig. He is marked: 1339 S&H / L L & S / 10 ½. Examination: teeny nicks at one earring hole.

Body: His original body is distinctive to this doll. It is Sonneberg-style with long wooden upper limbs. It is a crier body with a unique system for enclosing the mechanism - the top of the body is cut away with a Papier Mache shoulder plate. The crier is in working condition with the original pull strings. The body is marked with the patent number on the front torso: D.R.G.M. 357529.

Clothes: He is dressed in a detailed vintage costume of tuxedo, top hat, combination under with attached pleated bib, suspenders and tie, shoes and socks. Everything is in excellent condition.
