This 6.5" German all-bisque is a Kestner 178 with bare feet. She is wearing her all original clothes and retains her original skin wig. She is a real charmer! Here are the details:
Head: Her bisque head is perfect with no damage or repairs. She has tiny blue sleep eyes and an open/closed mouth with two painted lower teeth. She retains her original skin wig over her original plaster pate. She is marked 178 / 0.
Body: Her 5-piece all-bisque body is adorable with all the realistic chunkiness and fat wrinkles of a toddler. She has the bent left arm that we so often see on Kestner babies, and her hands are wonderfully detailed and realistic. Arms and legs are attached by good quality loop joints.
Clothes: She wears her original cotton print dress over matching bloomers and full-slip. Her original straw hat is embellished with red ribbon. The rim edge of the hat has wear. The dress and slip are in excellent aged condition. Her dress was sewn-on, so I clipped the stitching to examine her and photograph her body.
Factory Imperfections: One big toe has a little extra bisque. One arm has an oval-shaped hole in the upper shoulder.
Signs of Wear: None noted.
