A carved and painted wood model of a totem pole of the Tlingit, indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast of North America. A textile panel made of different dyed silk stripes, exquisitely embroidered with motifs from Zoroastrian myths such as fishes or botehs. An Iranian papier-mache box with polychrome and gold decoration under a lacquered varnish. A Laotian figure of Buddha Shakyamuni, made of cast bronze with dark patina. Depicted seated in meditation on an undecorated pedestal, the right hand in bhumisparsa and the left in dhyana mudra. The curly hair is ending in the ushnisha with flame ornament, his face in the typical naive style. Condition: old small loss to the flame and one foot of the pedestal (therefore not perfectly even).
