Two small Chinese porcelain plates, decorated with two four-clawed dragons chasing after the flaming pearl amidst clouds painted in overglaze blue. Base with stamped iron red four character mark "Tongzhi". Dating around 1900. Condition: one saucer with firing crack on base ending in a hairline (c. 6.5 cm long), the other one with a tiny flea bite to the foot rim (please see pict. 7 and 10). Dimension: diameter 14.7 cm, high: 2.8 cm.

A beautiful Cantonese brise fan with sticks and guards made of lacquered wood. Both sides paintd in silver and gold tones with a central landscape cartouche among vine leaf motif, the stick finals with a set of animal miniatures. Condition: with light surface wear, one stick final with a quite invisible crack (3.5 cm long), the original silk ribbon should be replaced. Dimension: length of sticks: 18.8 cm, fan opened approx: 32 cm wide.

A Chinese paired apron wraparound silk gored skirt, woven in tapestry (kesi, kossu, k'o-suu) technique with some silver wrapped threads and painted details, attached to an undyed cotton waistband and trimmed by a brocaded band. The panels are showing an imperial imagery of the celestial landscape with five-clawed dragons and phoenixes, against a green ground. The "long" dragons were probably covered by peacock feathers, rarely survived to the present days...
